I am sure everyone wants to feel light whenever we are at home or at work. This is achievable, however, there will surely be unexpected times when your mood changes because of some issues and problems that arise at home or at work. This has happened to me so many times that I have already formed some sort of habit whenever I feel I am in a bad mood. I would usually start by playing soothing instrumental music. I would look at something green, like a plant in my room or at the garden outside my window. I would take a deep breath and try to think of happy thoughts like chocolates, my kids, or the new dress that I am planning to buy. If after all these I would still feel bad, a lit scented candle would usually do the trick. People set up suburban homes primarily because they are sick and tired of the noise, ugliness, and crimes which are prevalent in the cities especially in the downtown areas. The movement from the cities to the suburban areas started in the 70s not because of the population growth but the fact that cities were infested with crimes and riots. However, many of our pristine suburban lands are fast becoming plagued with thugs, thieves, and criminals. There are reports of break-ins and robbery-rape cases. People who first created the suburban areas are shocked that the once beautiful places are starting to resemble the old cities that they left 30 or 40 years ago. This excellent process can expose the intruder and the dwellers of the suburban homes can immediately bring out their guns and weapons to confront him. If they don’t have guns, the mere triggering of the flood light and alarm system can give them enough time to call the security services.
